Consórcio - in partnership for a common goal.There is an element in the human brain that keeps us in disagreement when we are faced with opposite views. The point is it is okay to differ, but being determined not to mend is the problem.
When we can't reconcile between us, the like-minded in the majority of the issues, it will be a distant dream to expect a change in someone who is diametrically opposite in the majority of our views. We should find common ground and respect each other even if our differences exist in perspective or ideas. Common empathy and understanding are so important for a change.
It is easy to break, but it takes a lot of courage to practice to mend. We would have heard about Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold or silver. Broken pieces are not for disposal into garbage heaps but to be repaired with even more effort, adding worthy enough value because it reminds us of our loss, the hitch, and the courage to overcome those.
Stitch those relationships but never hide the thread. An aide-memoire is important too. The courage and recollection of our steps are so important, and it will be a stepping stone to being a better person. Let's try.
