1. We are part of nature. Not the bosses of nature. We didn't create nature. We didn't even create ourselves. We're a "happening" in the grand scheme of things in the first place. In essence, we have basically control over nothing in the universe. [ I'm careful and conscious of what I am putting down here. There is a nuance in this. Let's go slowly. Very slowly. Hesitantly. Skeptically. Observantly. ] That is the first acknowledgement. A doubtless, clear noticing.

2. Things are happening in our lives. In the world. As animated beings, we're acting. Perpetually. Inwardly and outwardly. Actions are taking place. [ If at all, there is some suspicion about having no control over anything. We cannot doubt the fact that things are happening. I'm doing something. You're doing something. Something is happening in the world. With or without our involvement. This is a clear observation. ]

3. Having seen that, having realized I'm acting consciously, semi-consciously, and even unconsciously. I'm responding to the environment, to people, to information. However crooked, actions are happening. All these happenings, the actual happenings, not the imagined ones, are facts. A fACT is something that A C T S. So now, our minds are coming to meet these happenings, facts. Things which are taking place.

4. Now, take a happening. Of the present moment. It is happening. With or without my involvement, it is going on. Now, this happening is complete in itself. What do I mean by this? That happening is independent. It has its cause, and it will have its consequences, the further happenings, with or without our conscious engagement. It happens. And now, we are generally devoid of the happening which is absolute in itself. This is a very important point of observation. I'm not in touch with something which is a fACT, a movement of my own life, in its entirety. I'm either superficially aware of it or totally absent-minded to it. This is a most crucial acknowledgement.

5. Now, let us put aside the independent movement. A question may arise: why are we devoid, and what is the other movement we're obsessed with? It gives all the clarity we need. The movement away is the movement of our "selves," created ones, the set of identifications, memories, and essentially egos. This is the source of all conflict, misery, and disorder of every kind on the personal level, and at large, collectively on the social level, with its most visible effects. Knowingly or unknowingly, we are mostly in this movement. Occasionally, barely touching the original movement, which is what is WORKING in real time and shaping things. The other, our fictitious entities, thinking, feeling, believing they have control, and trying their level best to mimic the qualities of the wholistic, original, authentic movement - and failing miserably. It, the ego, won't even dare to introspect. Because introspection, honest acknowledgement, leads to its dilution. It is said, notoriously, that ego never accepts truth or reality and endlessly cares about its existence and continuation. Why it is that way is a further point of exploration.

6. Now, happenings are shaping "my" reality. Irrespective of my consciousness of it. And the reality of the world, collectively. చాప కింద నీరులా. Once the brain really perceives this, that itself is a massive shift in consciousness. It's like removing spectacles of perception for once. Everything starts to make sense from this point, and it can't be automatic either. I go back to the same old eyes, to which I am quite accustomed. Conditioned to.

7. Now, if we ever come to consciousness of the fACT that things are happening on their own, that places me naturally, effortlessly in a mode of perception or observation of reality. We are observing. Seeing. Naively. Innocently. Calmly. Not as something "I am doing," but the realization placed me there. All I have done is seeing. A mere seeing. Let us go slowly here. Very slowly.

{ Seeing is doing something. A mere seeing of a fACT is doing something. This is the real catch. The ultimate catch. Not that one is, from now on, starting to control things. Nah. Just observing. Seeing. Noticing. Witnessing. Watching. Use any synonymous word. }

8. Now, a few things to bear. I'm not the creator of things. I am not creating intelligence. Intelligence is there, if it is there in existence. I'm not creating love. Love is there, if it is there in existence. I'm not creating creativity. Creativity is there, if it is there in existence. It is merely about accessing them.

9. Now, having sensed the meaning behind this flow of words, one realizes how important observation, aka seeing, is in life. One being a victim of life in non-observation. Getting lost in misery. The entire world is moving that way, more or less. Hence, the inevitable havoc. Social establishments, systems - of education, marriage, religion, ideologies, governments, legalities, etc. - this has to be seen. There is no choice. For the simple reason, it is what WORKS. The only "choice," which is not really a choice, brings a momentum, a revolution, a real one, a real change based on actuality. Not an adjustment or modification. How it works has been explained in the brackets of point number 7.

10. I'm selling nothing to you, brain. I'm not convincing you of any ideology or philosophy or a new fanciful thought process. Introduction of: it is what it is, and the mere perception into the nature of things, without an opinion or judgement. Once you see this, now, that perception belongs to you - or to put it another way, you belong to the perception. The perception, the movement of fACTs or truth, is an "impersonal" stream. It is acting on me and you, and without being cognizant of it, we're trying to act upon it, lay something on it, which is inevitably backfiring. So, the question isn't about selling anything. I've captured something for myself, maybe, of which I'm really not sure. I might have picked it unconsciously from others by living like a ghost in this world. Since it is firsthand, which I'm seeing for myself, on my own, without anybody guiding, it makes it irrelevant even if I've picked it from external sources. If you, as a brain, sense IT through this source, then I am irrelevant as well. As I began with, we're not bosses of anything. If you have come this far, this is likely a new beginning.
