The Tapestry of Civilization:

In the cradle where the rivers twined,

Emerged a tale of humankind,

From fertile banks to deserts wide,

Civilizations flourished, their legacies abide...

In the shadow of Himalayas, a marvel arose,

The Indus Valley, where knowledge glows,

With Harappa’s bricks and Mohenjo-Daro’s streets,

An urban wonder where culture meets...

The Great Bath shimmered in the morning sun,

A pool of purity, where many had fun,

Their script remains a mystery profound,

In the echoes of history, its secrets abound....

To Mesopotamia, where the ziggurats rise,

Babylon's grandeur beneath the vast skies,

Cuneiform tablets whisper tales of yore,

Of laws and of commerce, the world to explore...

Across the sea where the Aegean gleams,

The Greeks sculpted life from marble dreams,

Philosophers pondered, their thoughts took flight,

Creating a legacy of wisdom and light...

The Roman legions marched in might,

Constructing roads and bridges, a formidable sight,

With arches that tell of strength and design,

In their empire's reach, cultures entwined...

Eastward where the Silk Road sprawls,

Merchants exchanged silk and spices in thralls,

Ideas flowed freely, across mountains and sands,

Uniting the East and the West hand in hand...

In ancient China, innovations bloomed,

From the compass to paper, new worlds were groomed,

The Great Wall stood, a sentinel proud,

A testament to perseverance carved in a cloud...

Through ages past, in a dance of fate,

Civilizations rise, then fade, then wait,

Yet their echoes linger, timeless and free,

In the fabric of history, a shared legacy...

So let us remember these chapters of lore,

From the Indus to Rome, from shore to shore,

In the mosaic of life, we find our embrace,

For we are the echoes—humanity's grace...
