Superstitions Eats up Poor more than the Rich.

MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS/ANYTHING

The more the people are weak against the strongest (in terms of financial condition and physically enduring) these superstitions will continue to grow. People need something or other to cling on to & fool/deceive themselves. It gives them the slightest hope and people continue with it even if it's not helpful.

The gap between rich and poor is widening and this will further give a chance for the poor to hold on to superstitions. It's the right environment for fake guru culture to thrive.

The rich follow superstitions too, but they can afford to lose without consequences but the poor watch them and follow the path in order to make a difference in their lives, at least hoping to. Thus making superstitions part of everyone's lives but the poor pay for it and the rich believe it is working for them.

The world is not fair to the weak as it is demanding and the rich are the ones who demand. The race continues where rich starts close to destination, continue to win, and the poor are left far far behind. Those poor who win doesn't want more to join him in this competition of getting rich. He would rather indulge himself in growing his wealth to pass his bloodline but not to add another.

Unless the country becomes more positive and help the poor with best economic policies, education, health care there will not much change in the society. Hence superstitions will continue to dominate people's minds eating them from within. The struggle, unfortunately, will continue for eternity with cosmetic changes and not fundamental.

The country where superstitions are promoted by the leaders themselves without any hesitation cannot expect their followers be otherwise.

The only hope is in the upcoming generation. I would expect them to bring in more scientific fervor in their lives, calling out superstitions and progress.

It's really sad that so many people end up clinging to superstitions for hope. Meanwhile, those with wealth can take risks without worrying about the fallout. We need better opportunities, education, and support for everyone. I truly hope the younger generation, with its fresh, scientific outlook, will break this cycle and bring real change.
